    Transcending Dualities

What if you stopped categorizing your life experiences into judgments of "good" or "bad"?

What if there were only days, relationships, memories, emotions, and experiences?

    No qualifiers. No quantifiers, even.

All can simply exist as they come, as they are, as they go...as they return, or not.

Knowing that each and every part makes up the whole of your life, accept them.

Experiment with focusing on your lessons instead of your preferences.

Then maybe instead of good or bad days, you will have some days where you learn a whole lot and some days where you can practice implementing all that you've learned.

In every single one of us exists a teacher and a learner. We are always all—in all ways.

The "bad" days become your learning days.

The "good" days become your teaching days.

On learning days, maybe remind yourself to make a conscious effort and pay attention to your teachers.

On teaching days, maybe you don't even need a reminder to make a conscious effort to share what you know with other learners.

And if you can do both of those things in one day, then you are well on your way to mastering this thing we call life.

You might even discover one day, that there IS only one long day separated by many short nights.

And the only difference between a day and a night is your ability to see the light.

"The sun doesn't go down. It's just an illusion caused by the world spinnin' round." (Do You Realize, The Flaming Lips)

The only difference between day and night is your ability to SEE the light.
